Acrylic on canvas

My paintings emerge through layers of intuition and decision. Working with acrylic on canvas allows me to move quickly, to respond to the surface as it changes, and to let each gesture remain visible in the final composition.

I’m drawn to the tension between construction and release. Shapes form, dissolve, and reappear, guided by color relationships and spatial balance rather than predetermined outcomes. The process is active and responsive—each mark influencing the next.

Acrylic gives me the freedom to explore contrast, rhythm, and density while maintaining a direct connection to the canvas. The work develops through accumulation, correction, and interruption, until a sense of coherence quietly asserts itself.

Each piece stands as a record of this exchange between intention and adaptation, capturing a moment where movement settles into form.
